I need your life stories for my new book

The jewelry on this handbag came from many different places. I love this bag it is called "Jeweled Skin"
My friend Jaime and I are working on a book (don't want to give away the title yet)

We need some help with it. Right now I am trying to figure out ways we can get interviews with other people (women especially) that want to help us with this book.

What kind of book is it you ask?

It is a book about healing, restoration, and fashion. Sounds kinda weird, I know, but keep reading. We want to know the history and stories behind the jewelry that you own. We want to know if you have heirlooms that you don't know what to do with, such as necklaces, earings, watches, rings you name it. In this book, we will take you through a creative journey of discovering who you are where you came from. What we will show you how to take what you own, and make it new. Some of you might own something from someone that might have hurt you and you feel guilty for still owning it, but can't throw it away. We will show you how to start healing and move on and change your pain into joy. It is not the object that causes us pain put the memory attached to that object. This book will give the opportunity of letting go of the hurt an chanelling it into someting beautiful!

I like to shop at thrifts stores and antique malls. I buy old jewelry, but I can't pass up the jars of broken jewelry. You can find all sorts of beautiful artifacts and treats. It makes me wonder, who owned this stuff before. What is their story and where are they now.

We want to compile a book full of peoples stories and treasures and make art with it.

Sound cool? Well, we need your help. Help us to get the word out. Jaime and I can't wait to meet you!

I am FREEEEEE, well kinda

Today ladies and gents I am alone in my house with only 1/3 of my children. Jolie (say it with a French accent) is with me right now as I am typing. My in-laws took my other two kids with them to the mall so that I could get some work done. Well, I am suppose to be editing my book and I found myself blogging. Working with 3 small children has its challenges. I have managed to do a lot with my kiddos. I feel for you other parents out there trying to blog and work and raise a fam all at the same time.

I am so excited about life because it has so many surprises..... I had to pause a bit because JoJo (that's Jolie) is squirming in my lap. Ok back to business, well I am playing right now. Do you guys consider blogging playing or tha biz?

I will keep it short and swizzeet (thats sweet). I know, a suburbian mom throwin out tha lingo. Ok well I likes to kinda keep it real?

Peace out

I need stories for my second book

I am in the process of working on my second book. I wanted to know if anyone wanted to be included in the book.

I am looking for any one that has heirlooms that they don't know what to do with. If you have old jewelry from your mother, grandmother etc. I would like to know more about you and the owner of the heirlooms that got passed down to you.

"Textured Oranges"

This bracelet is an example of what I have done with the old and made it new

Hey there!

Today I am in the middle of finishing my manuscrip for my book and letting the kids play outside for a while before nap time.

This is one of the projects that you will find in my book. It's called "Blue Candy Python Clutch".

It won't be out until next year, hopefully in mid summer. I will be keeping my fingers crossed.

I really would like some feedbag on this bag. I have to keep it short and sweet!
